Currently writing my first novel, a fantasy called 'The Sanctum of Souls: Book One of the Nexephion Tetralogy'.
A lot of my deviations are illustrations of my characters using 3D software. Mainly to assist me with character development, but hopefully they make pretty pictures too :D
I'm also a MASSIVE Dragon Age fan and, as such, a lot of the inspiration for the book has come from my exceptionally unhealthy obsession with the Dragon Age universe.
Who knows, maybe one day my book will become a game too ;-)

Damn, I forgot to 'favourite' a Dragon Age Fan-Fic I was reading! It stopped at Ch6 and was about Hawke being kidnapped by Danarius, who then went into her dreams and did 'unspeakable things' to her in front of poor Fenris. If anyone knows what it is called or who wrote it, please let me know so I can find it and add it. Thanks guys :)

Earlier this evening I sent a tweet to Mike Laidlaw (Creative Director of Biowares Dragon Age series), asking him, tongue in cheek, if the elves in the forthcoming Dragon Age 3 game could look anything like my elf, Hahn (see Marcus Ryan - SOS folder). It wasn't entirely out of the blue. I had tweeted him some time ago to ask if elves where going to look 'better' in the new game. They where particularly un-hot in Dragon Age 2! Anyway, as I had created my own rather 'hot' looking elf for my book, I thought, what the hell, I'll send him a link to the pic. Nothing to lose after all.
Well, I am still chuckling to myself now at his 'typical Dragon

)You are very welcome. I love your work, and yes, you most definitely are very, very good at it. I'm still learning but artists like you give me something to aim for.
I should perhaps concentrate a little more on the writing though. I get so easily distracted. Still, the 3D is helping with character visualization so much. It's hard to see it as anything other than beneficial. Anyways, I look forward to 'favouriting' many more of your works
